Private Programs

Enjoy a private presentation or demonstration from a Fernbank educator for your family or group. Programs are designed for ages 4 and over and parties of up to 15 people.

Programs run approximately 15-20 minutes, with time for questions and discussion.

Pricing: $150 per program, admission sold separately.

Reservation Policies: Program reservations must be made at least one week in advance. Payment is due in full at the time of reservation. Admission must be purchased at the time of reservation. Group rates apply at $21.95 per adult and $20.95 per child.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation are fully refundable. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance forfeit a refund.

Available Programs

• Excellent Experiments: Explore the world of chemistry with colorful and explosive experiments.
• Dinosaur Explorers: Explore the Earth of long ago and the dinosaurs which ruled in Georgia and around the world.
• Animal Encounter: Meet a reptile, amphibian or invertebrate from Fernbank’s live animal collection and learn the unique ways these creatures have adapted to survive.

Enjoy a private, guided tour of one of Fernbank’s exciting exhibits with a museum educator. Suitable for ages 4 and over and parties of up to 15 people.

Enjoy a private, guided tour of Fernbank Forest with a Fernbank educator. Explore the ecology, history and champion species of our beautiful, old-growth forest. This is an outdoor program; please dress accordingly.

A Walk Through Time in Georgia Exhibit (30 minutes)
Price: $150
Journey through 4.5 billion years of Georgia’s natural history. Fernbank educators will guide you through the story of our planet and its diverse life, from Earth’s humble beginnings to the Georgia we see today.
