In this immersive, hands-on exhibition, find out what archaeologists have discovered about the ancient Maya civilization that flourished in Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Honduras. Visitors will learn about the lifeways of both Maya elite and working-class through authentic artifacts, architectural elements, reconstructions, and interactives.

This animated artistic series, narrated in 68 Mexican indigenous languages, highlights the cultural treasures and heritage behind the tales of an indigenous community rich in traditions that celebrate diversity. Moved by the loss of her Mayan grandfather, Gabriela Badillo created this project to keep the legacy of his language, stories, traditions and customs alive for future generations.
