NEW EXHIBIT: Habitat- WildWoods (Outdoors, Lower Level)
Explores the stories and science of habitats, and the plants, animals, and humans that call them home in this new outdoor exhibit featuring larger-than-life sculptures.

Habitat Scavenger Hunt- WildWoods (Outdoors, Lower Level)
Turn your program over to find a scavenger hunt; the answers to which can be found in the new outdoor special exhibit, Habitat.

Tree Climbing Demo- WildWoods (Outdoors, Lower Level)
Stop by to watch a member of New Urban Forestry as they scale some of the tallest and oldest trees in Atlanta and learn about what they are doing to preserve and care for trees in our community.

Urban Coyote Research Table- Great Hall (Lower Level)
Uncover some interesting trends in urban coyote behaviors from the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia.

Live-Animal Encounter**- Walk Through Time in Georgia Booth- 10:30am-11am and 12:00pm-12:30pm (Entry Level)
Be sure to check out critters from Fernbank’s live-animal collection in this exciting, immersive experience.

Adaptation Biofacts- Outdoor Terrace (Lower Level)
Compare and contrast adaptations of our native Georgia wildlife, including mammals such as beavers and opossum, venomous and non-venomous reptiles and more. Provided by the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

City Nature Challenge Info Table- Kendeda Pavilion in WildWoods (Outdoors- Lower Level)
Learn how you can document and identify plants and animals through the iNaturalist app in order to help Atlanta sit atop the leaderboard for City Nature Challenge 2021.

Storytime- Frances Wood Wilson Theater- 11am-11:30am (Lower Level)
Get wild with a Fernbank educator in this interactive storytelling experience.

Woodland Creature Eye-Masks***- Great Hall (Lower Level)
Grab an eye mask and “dress-up” as your favorite woodland creature. Mask designs include deer, rabbits, bears, owls, raccoons and more!

Cost: Included with museum admission. Members FREE.
